The Cloisters & Medieval Gardens

Discover the "Cloister" of the Museum of Art & History, a neo-Gothic architectural gem dating back to before the First World War. With a capacity of 150 people for receptions or dinners, this space offers a unique atmosphere for prestigious events. Open to an interior garden, it houses pre-Romanesque and Romanesque sculptures as well as 12th-century baptismal fonts. Guests can also enjoy the adjacent garden adorned with neo-Gothic reliefs.

By choosing the Museum of Art and History as the venue for your event, you contribute to generating revenue, promote the discovery of our institution and its collections by the general public, participate in enriching knowledge about Belgian heritage, and support the creation of new exhibition spaces as well as certain scientific research projects. Event organization and room rental are an integral part of our fundraising activities.

Cancellation Policy

In the event that the lessee, for any reason, decides to cancel the event in the period following the signing of the agreement, the Museums will then retain half of the deposit paid as well as the security deposit (750 €), as compensation.

In the event that the Museums, for any reason, decide to cancel the event, the deposit paid by the lessee will be fully refunded.
