A storytelling experience that brings the richness of Inuit oral traditions to life.

Open Atelier Ouvert
Time to get creative! Inspired by the shapes, lines and graphic worlds of contemporary Inuit art, this hands-on workshop invites you to experiment with different artistic techniques.
Take a seat at the studio tables and play with colours and shapes using watercolour pencils. With just a touch of pigment and a little water, you can create subtle gradients or striking contrasts. You can also try block printing, creating your own composition using a woodcut and watercolour.
No previous artistic experience is needed – just bring your curiosity and imagination!
- Times: Drop in at any time between 19:00 and 00:30
- Languages: French, Dutch and English
Anouck Thibaut – Inukshuk
Fascinated by the polar regions and Inuit culture, Brussels-based artist Anouck Thibaut has been exploring the figure of the inuksuk since 2019. These human-shaped stone structures serve as landmarks in the vast Arctic landscape and carry important cultural meanings.
Through this digital artwork, she invites visitors on a journey into the landscapes of the Far North while opening up space for their own imagination. Orientation, memory, human connections and our relationship with the natural world come together in a work that offers new perspectives on how we relate to our surroundings.
Times: On view throughout the evening, from 19:00 to 00:30
Créahm Bxl – Live Drawing
Watch Michael Mvukani Mpiolani at work and discover a richly detailed graphic world. With remarkable precision, the artist creates black-and-white drawings of landscapes and traffic patterns with an almost photographic realism.
Take a moment to look more closely and discover the richness of his distinctive artistic perspective.
Times: Throughout the evening, between 19:00 and 00:30
Créahm Bxl – Dance Performances
The museum becomes a space for movement, too! Choreographer Joëlle Shabanov and her dancers have created three original performances in dialogue with the museum’s spaces.
Encounter these unexpected moments of dance as you move through the museum, and discover its spaces and collections from a fresh perspective.
Times: Three performances throughout the evening, between 19:00 and 00:30
