Climb the Halle Gate’s 169 steps and enjoy Brussels’ most stunning panoramic view, BY NIGHT.
Virtual binoculars let you see the city as master painter Pieter Bruegel the Elder would have seen it. It’s a breathtaking plunge back into the 16th century. Then head under the magnificent roof trusses to try a glass of the new “Pier den Drol” beer.

Bright Brussels is a festival of lights, a fascinating itinerary through the city made up of about twenty interactive, playful and captivating light installations. Bright Brussels is a free event, open to all audiences from 19:00 to 23:00 for four evenings, from 13 to 16 February 2020.

The route stretches towards the city's historical centre from the upper part of the city through the Poelaert, Marolles, Royal Quarter and Sablon neighbourhoods to the Halle Gate. Come (re)discover the rich heritage of these neighbourhoods through the magic of light! You can start the tour wherever you want.
