Belgian Pride: Tapestries

In the context of the ‘Bernard van Orley. Brussels and the Renaissance’ exhibition co-produced by the Art & History Museum, the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium and BOZAR, 8 tapestries will be presented from a series of 10 featuring the biblical story of patriarch Jacob. The others are on display in the BOZAR exhibition. The series of tapestries was designed by Brussels painter Bernard van Orley (before 1430—1541) and his workshop. Other 16th century tapestries can be admired in the gallery of European Decorative Arts.

Good to know: Reduced rate (€ 8) at the Art & History Museum (permanent collections) when presenting your entrance ticket of the Bernard van Orley exhibition at BOZAR.
